Richmond Waldorf School Holiday Bazaar

Under the Old Oak Tree will be sharing a table with another mom from my natural and attatchment parenting group at the Richmond Waldorf School Holiday Bazaar on November 21, 2009 from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. The address is 1000 Westover Hills Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23225. I'll have the current merchandise from http://www.undertheoldoaktree.etsy.com/ as well as a few new surprises. Also, I will be putting the etsy shop on vacation mode begining Wedesnday 11/18/09 till I finish with the bazaar on 11/21/09.

Westhampton United Methodist Church Arts and Crafts Sale

This evening I did the majority of my setting up for this sale tomorrow. After setting up I of course came home and made a few more items! I am sharing a table with my friend Jane who has beautiful cards, tags, jewlery, journals and artwork for sale. I am happy with my little corner of the table. It's my first sale and I have worked really hard to get ready for it and to build up some stock. Whatever is not sold will go up on the etsy shop tomorrow after the sale. I have taken the shop off of vacation mode as of this evening.

DS and I are planning to be there all day. Come and say hi...and maybe give one of my creations a good home!

Shop on vacation this week.

In an attempt to preserve my sanity, I am putting the shop on vacation till next week as I prepare for the Arts and Crafts sale and try to get some stock built up. Anything left from the sale will be put on the Etsy shop afterwards.

Felted pictures

I made this picture especially for my son, so it is not for sale, however, I am itching to do some more of them. They measure about 12 x12 and are needle felted wool roving on a piece of wool felt.

If you have an idea of something you would like, run it by me. We can determine a subject/colors. Price will depend on how involved and labor intensive the item is. If I were to sell one like this, it would probably be about $25.00.

This winter scene is one I created for sale for around $35.00.

This fall tree is also for sale for $35.00.

Felted Cars

These cars are needle felted out of wool roving and have wooden wheels. They come in coupe, sedan and pick-up truck styles. Contact me with the color and style you would like.

Made to order, these wool felted balls measure between 2.5 and 4 inches. They can be made with or without a jingling or rattling core. Let me know what colors you would like.

Large Gnome

Made from wool yarn and stuffed with locally produced wool roving, This large hand knit gnome measures 19 inches from the top of his hat to his feet. Made to order-you choose the color for the body/hat.

First Arts and Crafts Festival

I am currently working on stock for the Westhampton United Methodist Church's Fall Arts and Crafts Festival on October 3, 2009 from 9-2. I am sharing a table with my friend Jane who does fantastic collage items. Thanks to her for allowing me to sell some items there too! My hope is to at least have felted acorns, felted balls, felted coffee cup cozies, some felted children's crowns. I would also like to possibly have some little knit gnomes, felted cars, and felt pictures made up for that day but we will see how much I get done. Hope to see you there!
